Beauty Lasts Forever

A few years ago I had the sad experience of finding a dead Cardinal.   I did a ceremony around it,  asked if I could have its wings and tail feathers, and then buried it in the warm ground.  For years I looked for some sort of figurine to celebrate its life and just the other day found an appropriate one. So now this little angel supports and is uplifted up by the cardinal's wings and tail feathers.

We had a woodpecker fly into the window of our heritage log home, in Ompah, and die.  I saved the wings and tail feathers and when we  found this Yoga lady in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, when I was doing sessions there, she seemed the most perfect choice to continue the beauty of the woodpecker's wings.
